VOLUNTEER
and help keep promises

Foster
Fostering is how the promise becomes personal. When a dog comes into Made a Promise Rescue, they are met with safety, patience, and care while we work toward their forever home. As a foster, you give a dog the space to rest, trust, and be known. We provide medical care, supplies, and support, but the heart of the rescue lives in the homes that open their doors and say yes.
Volunteer
Volunteering is how the promise is shared. Made a Promise Rescue exists because people choose to be part of something meaningful. Every volunteer brings care, commitment, and heart, and together that is what carries the rescue forward. Whether your presence is hands on or behind the scenes, you are part of the promise we make to every dog.

Volunteer in Person
Being present with the dogs is how the promise is felt. Time spent at shelters, boarding facilities, or during dog days out helps dogs experience connection, routine, and care wherever they are. Showing up creates calm, confidence, and trust. When you volunteer in person, you become part of the daily life of the rescue and part of the promise that every dog is seen, valued, and loved.
