Meet Luna
Luna is impossible not to love. Maybe it’s the full body wiggles every time she sees you. Maybe it’s her happy, outgoing personality. Or maybe it’s the way she carries her toys around so proudly like they are her greatest accomplishment.
She brings a lot of joy with her, and she’s just looking for the right place to land.
The promise we made to Luna
We promised Luna she would have the patient, calming, and structured environment she needs to be her best self.

Personality
Luna is a happy, outgoing girl who truly loves people. She greets everyone with full body wiggles and an excitement that is hard not to smile at.
She is great at entertaining herself as long as she has toys around, but she does best in a calmer environment since too much stimulation can make her anxious. She has a fun personality with a sensitive side that needs the right balance.
In the Home
Luna thrives on routine and structure. Her day usually starts with a walk, followed by a little training session with breakfast.
She’s used to a mix of someone being home and being away during the day, and when she’s on her own she settles nicely in her own space and relaxes.
She gets a walk in the afternoon and another after work, followed by dinner in a sniff mat.
In the evenings, she rotates between playing with toys, chewing on a bone, exploring the backyard, and relaxing on the couch.
With Other Dogs
Luna is not aggressive toward other dogs, but her personality and stimulation levels can be a bit much. She would likely do best as the only dog in the home where she can fully relax and not feel overwhelmed.
With People
Luna loves everyone she meets and does not show hesitation with new people. She is social, friendly, and eager to connect.
With Kids
Kids can be overwhelming for Luna and may cause her stress. She would do best in a home without children.
Training and Care
Luna is learning basic commands and picking things up quickly. She is improving on leash and working on walking nicely without pulling.
Crate training is still in progress. She tends to do better when given space, like being left in a room, and her foster is working on building positive associations with the crate.
She is mostly potty trained but may have accidents if she becomes anxious and does not have the opportunity to go outside.
Ideal Home
Luna would do best in a calm, structured home with someone patient who is willing to continue helping her build confidence and independence.
She is already making great progress and just needs the right environment to continue becoming her best self.
A Note from the Foster
She loves her toys and will proudly carry a stuffy around like it is her prized possession.

The Promise Moving Forward
We promised Luna that we would give her the structure and patience she needs, and we plan to follow through.
Now we are just waiting for the right home that will continue that promise and give her the calm, steady life she deserves.
